I assume you mean an auto parts store? They are, in general, incompetent,
unless they can find it on the confuser.
Go to a bearing distributor. They will not have any applicaiton data but go
only on the seal dimensions, bore ID, shaft OD and width, plus in some cases
the lip configuration. Look in the yellow pages under bearings. They would
also have repair sleeves if your old seal wore into the yoke.
