Outstanding post on a touchy subject, thanks for your perspective!
Our own experience is that the veterans at these shows want to look and touch and
offer their own reminsces, the kids want to "see inside" - read climb about - and
the rest want to take your picture! The fastest way to p*** someone off is to tell
them their kids aren'y allowed to look closer - and conversely, we've met some
really nice people by allowing them to squeeze into the driver's position of
what-have-you and answer their dumb but sincere questions.
The public is indeed our strength and our future.
