Hello Nige and group:

One question I've never been able to get any info on is why the BSA
bikes managed to survive in the kind of numbers they have, especially since
they seem to turn up, (at least here in the US) still in their original
green. Any reader have any info on this ??

PS: A friend has found one of the oddest W.W.II military "vehicles". It
is an air compressor. It is set up like a wheel barrow, with a 3/4 ton
trailer landing leg wheel on the front. Does this make it a 1x1 ???
The gas supply is inside the tubular frame. He;s pretty much got it
restored, but if anyone reading this has ever seem a manual or other
mention, he'd like a copy.
