A fellow in the local club has a
pair of these we occasionaly use at
events. The burners have been
converted to propane. This makes
them far safer and much less
cantankerous. I have two single
burner portable units and will be
converting one of them to burn
propane.

With that said, any time one works
with gasoline extreme caution
should be exercised. As an EMT with
the local ambulance company I have
had the misfortune to see what
carelesness with liqud fuel can do
to you (more than once). Believe it
when I say, the smell of burnt
flesh will never leave you. On a
strictly technical note, third
degree (or as they are now called
"full thickness") burns are the
most severe (never heard of a
fourth degree) but the least
painful as the pain receptors have
all been burned away.
