Hello List!

I have a small problem that I'm hoping I can solicite some help regarding.

I've got a 1984 Chevy Van Conversion that's sitting in my driveway. It needs
TLC the likes of which I can't give it, not working on it with simple tool sin
the driveway. The body is in good shape, the interior is "tired" but it has
four Captain's chairs and a bench seat that transforms into a bed. The motor
needs some fine tuning to pass smog, but was recently rebuilt. In short, this
would be a great medium intensity project for somebody who has the time, and in
return you'd have a great cruising vehicle for long range trips.
I would like to trade this van for a jeep. Preferably an M151. My only
requirements for this jeep are that it be roadworthy, able to be licensed, have
most of the major parts (spare tire, seats, etc.), be capable of being used as a
runabout town vehicle, and have minimal body damage. (You guide should be: If
the motor transport officer saw you pull this thing into the motor pool, would
he blow his stack, write you up on charges, and otherwise register his
dissatisfaction...) I'd like to be able to drive it now, but eventually it will
become a replica of my old USMC gunjeep. (Yes, with the .50 cal Browning...)
Jeeps, mules, and M-37s I can work on, but this van is out of my league.
Of course, if somebody wants to trade something else, I'm happy to consider any
serious offers.

Help me out, guys, I really need the space, and the M-37 is making grumbling
noises about "that damned civilian"...

Thanks,

Bill
