Gavin is correct- it does say on the container that it cures fully in 48
hours. I guess that means that no further chemical conversion will occur if
a coat is applied after the 48 hour curing period.
I guess I'll have to find a Chevy Vega to use the rest on- they came from
the factory with the Rusted to Hell option, I believe...
