Dirigibles

Your frend is in error looking for WWII "dirigibles". A dirigible is a
rigid airship with an interior framework. During WWII the USN used
Blimps which were non-rigid except for a reinforced nose cone. Akron,
Macon, Shennandoah were all pre-WWII rigids. All were lost as was Los
Angles. If he wants info on war time rigids, he must go back to WWI.
