this morning I was at the "Novegro" militaria fair, one of the Italy's bigger.
I've found there a blackout switch for my trailer, NOS in his original
crate, a couple of reflectors, ...and the book "jeeps over the pacific",
new, by Yasuo Ohtsuka.
I want to recommend this book for the outstanding pictures, with both
japanese and english captions.
the picture at page 157 was for me today A LOT important !!
In this picture you can see a line of rebuilt jeeps in 1960.
THE PANEL on them with stamped numbers is almost the same that I found on
my trailer, and that I couldn't understand.
so I made some researches, and I think now that my trailer belonged to the
"Marshall Plan" aids to european countries on 1947.
You must consider the fact that on this trailer all the items seem to
report to a veritable MBT.
BUT.. there is no serial number under the spring bracket.
the only copy with blackout switch is the german one (after war), but this
trailer is NOT a copy...
I've found just some numbers on it, no stars, and the "remains" of
something that was attached with glue on the front and side panels.
the rectangular shape of these "remains" is the SAME of the "Marshall Plan"
label that was attached on all the vehicles sent in europe just after the war.

now with this news, I wondering if any of you can help me to understand all
the numbers on the panel, and even if any knows which kind of metal sign
was attached on these trailer (the same of the military MBT??).
I think that I will consider the chance of restoring this trailer as a
"Marshall Plan" aid...
perhaps it can be the first in Italy like that ;-)))
but I need pictures of the original shield label too !!!
