if anyone is interested in finding more info out, check out the 6.2/6.5
diesel page. There is a lot about these engines and also some info on the
new Duromax 6600 that is replacing the 6.5. As far as I know, the 6.2 was a
DD design but manufactured and modified by GM. Also, the 6.5 will still be
made and come in the Hummers.
