Humvees, AMG, are they nuts!

I agree with you regarding the don't ask, just do it policy. (My insurance agent
told me the same thing - tell them only what they have to know)

I'd like to point out that the more rocks that AMG throws at their own vehicles
via ridiculous letters and comments, the more they look like total idiots. From a
laymans point of view, why would a responsible company produce a vehicle that was
not as safe as it's civilian counterpart? AMG would be stupid to try to actively
and publicly hinder the sale of any Humvee.

If in fact, AMG made statements that the military Humvee was inferior from a
safety standpoint, I don't think it would take a lot of effort to get
congressional representatives to question AMG's responsibility for making an
vehicle that was not a safe as standard civilian version of the same vehicle.
Also, what kind of negative spin could this put on the recent GM deal!

To the AMG management who monitors this list: Wise up! And stop throwing rocks
at your own products!
