Yes, it's good to engage in a little mil-veh debate on occasion and learn
something in the process. I deliberately started a hot topic, hoping some rea
l tankers will step up and share their experience here... I'm just a wannabe
with no practical experience save for my research, suppose that is more than
obvious by my comments...lol.
My military experience was far from the rumble and clanking of armor.... more
like the subtle sounds of boots on dirt, ( infantry tactics & urban guerilla
warfare. ) Mil-Vehs and armor are a whole new ball game, but it's been great
reading about them and owning a small bit of armour!
Only been mildly flamed for suggesting Brits had the best tank of it's day,
the Chieftain.
