Yes! Also the Germans in WWII made a lot of them (perhaps of wood) a sort
of sovrastructure mounted on kuebelwagen cars. The purpose was to let the
aircraft recognition believe about a "lot" of tanks available from the
enemy...

However, the British tank I have seen at the TV News last week was NOT a
rubber or dummy, it was a real one... A pity I was too far from the TV set
and by the time I got up and went near it, it was gone...
The speaker said "plastic", however there are very strong polymers which
are very hard to penetrate...

Any info from the British Listers? I am curious to know more (Richard,
Gordon, Nige...)...
