Water also mixes with the DOT 3 stuff but not with the DOT 5 (Silicone)
as well Joe.

The DOT 5 looses its color with time, so there are times I need to test
which is in a system
I'm working on. Also the smell and feel test works well with DOT 3. Those
of youse
that have worked with both know what I mean.
