Hi,
There was no big difference between the army DUKW's, the USMC DUKW's or
the British army DUKW's during the war ,except maybe the colour.
It could be that there were some small field modifications to carry the 105mm
guns, and the British DUKW's were in better shape because their crew was
better trained ( they ran a very tight maintenance programme). There are some
pictures
of USMC DUKWS carrying camouflage paint, lots of sandbags and a 105mm gun.
