just for information, turbots don't have seals....... they have slinger
rings and the bearing clearance is small enough to regulate the oil flow
so that the slingers don't get flooded. the easiest way to check a turbo
is to they to move the shaft in or out. it should not even feel like it
moves. then try to move it sideways. you should be able to 'feel' it
move but when you look at it not see it move.
