I reproduce the radio installation manual for the M-151 for the newer
radios (RT-524 etc.) and probably have others if I dig deep enough in the
piles of TM's here.

Also, I think my friend Dennis Spence (Portrayal Press) has some
listed in his catalog.

It seems there is some interest in vehicle radios. I have been
kicking around the idea of reproducing several radio manuals that give info
on all the different postwar radios sets and their use. (after I do the No.
19 set ones I been promising certain people for a year or so)

I'll give the data so you interested people can check around locally
for them.

FM 24-24 "Radio & Radar Reference Data" has most of the common
current (60's up) radios (vehicle and field) and sets with illustrations
and data on each.

SB 11-131 "Vehicular Radio Sets and Authorized Installations" lists
all the newer radio sets and combinations of sets with installation kits
and accessory kits for most M-series wheeled and tracked vehicles
(M-38/M38-A1 are in another TM). No illustrations, just good data on what
fits what.

TC 24-18 "Communications in a "Come as You Are" War" which explains
how to use and net radio sets of both old (1950's) and new ones. Not
specific to any vehicles just a "how to" type of book.

NOTE......At the risk of being called a "party pooper" I should
point out to those of us here in Michigan that the use of radios that can
pick up police frequencies is against the law. The RT-68 radio will pick up
Michigan State Police radios. You cannot have these radios (working) in a
vehicle with out a license! My advise is to keep the "dogbone" connector
in your tool box when not using the set. If you are questioned about the
radio it will be a legal "non-working" set.
