You put the big 20"? star on the hood, point facing the windshield. Same
size star on each door. Smaller star 9"? in the center of the tailgate.
Smaller one in the center of the front bumper.

In 1942, you might or might not have a "Wxxxxx" number on the hood. What
month was the truck made? If you don't know, and have the serial number,
send it to me and I can look it up. This is the long serial number with the
model number in it. Did you sand the side of the hood to see if it had the
reg number on it?
