When looking at trucks/generators, parts etc at the DRMO take pictures of
all sides of the truck before you bid on it, and bring the pix with you when
you pick up the truck.
A good friend who bid and won a large lot of M151s came back and found the
trucks stripped of pintle hooks, clevises, seats and other valuable/saleable
parts.
When the yard commander was asked, he said "that's what you bid on, you must
be mistaken" He showed the pix, and threatened to call the CID, the parts
mysteriously appeared.
