Hello everyone.
On my 1975 Kaiser M54A1C 5 ton cargo truck....
It has a Mack ENDT-673 turbo diesel engine. Rated at 220HP. Not enough
for a truck that ways 19,800lbs empty!
I was speaking to my local truck garage and they suggested that I can
pull the injector pump and injectors, take them to a pump shop and they
can crank up my horsepower a good bit.
Does anybody have any experience with doing this? Does it work? Is it
worth the $1600 they want to charge me?
Is there anything else I need to be concerned about like the turbo
charger size?
