Why do rebuilt parts when NOS are cheaper. I took my shoes into the big
truck brake place here and they wanted $36 per shoe to reline. Antelope
Valley has NOS ones for $28 each. I just got some, very nice. The wheel
cylinders were not unique to the military, they did have some what common
civilian use, they had several on the shelf, but.... $64 each, you can get
new/NOS ones from mil suppliers for like $24 or so.

Not a bad idea, I found the wheel cylinders to be full of some type of
particulate crud material. A thourough flush is in order at the least.
