Hi JE,

No picture but I can explain it quite easily.

Bring the rope down on the right side, under the double rounded loop of
metal,
up and over and back under the same double metal loop, then go under
and up the single metal end and pull it into the open loop for a lock.

Try it a few times: down on right / under / over / under and into the
open loop / pull tight.

To release the rope, just pull the end of the rope back out of the open
loop.
