Greetings to all members. My name is Adam North, from Blenheim, New Zealand.
I own a company called Demonware Restorations which specialises in restoring
Classic, Vintage and Modern Motorcycles. We have just expanded into Classic
Cars and Military Vehicles. With a background in the Royal New Zealand Air
Force Police, I own a M741B INDIAN Motorcycle, fully restored to New Zealand
Military Police Specs. During 2001 Blenheim will be hosting an anual
Warbirds Airshow (WWI and WWII aircraft mainly) however I am making a 1/1
scale replica type 82 Kubelwagon. Information is hard to get and any you
have to offer would be greatly appreciated. I already have a VW Beetle
Chassis and a 1/32 scale model (which is the only information we have) so we
are off to a good start. After the completion of this vehicle, we are
looking at building a Steyr Kommanduerwagon from scratch as well. As you may
have guessed German Military vehicles are very few and far between over
here, I know of only one Schwimmwagon in New Zealand and have not yet heard
of any other Kubelwagons.
