A friend of mine is restoring a Willys M38 (not A1) here in Germany.
The goal is to build it in absolute authentic original condition to the
tiniest screw (well, if possible and reasonable at all :-)
It went good so far but now that the finish line comes into sight the
discovery of missing parts takes longer and longer.
At first, we didn't consider to import parts from overseas (with the US$ so
strong and all this shipping costs and duty fees) but now I will give it a
try.
The list still contains about 30 items but most important at this stage are:
a. the complete electrical wiring system with all the original plugs and
connectors
b. the rubber parts for the windscreen. I think the army supply catalog calls
them 'filler' or 'weatherstrip'. (when there is no NOS part availiable a
small sample of their profile would do for reproduction)
Any suggestions are most welcome! (Offers please off-list)

P.S. You lucky guys in the states! Seems to be an unlimited stock of items
over there when browsing through your postings...
