Not quite...The materials that are excess property..are not Uncle Sam's.
They are the property of the United States. As a Government of the people,
by the people...that means the excess property belongs to the people of the
United States... Which means that some sharp lawyer is needed to make sure
the people have a say as to what is done with the property. The Government
should not be "licensed" to deceide on what is or is not to be destroyed.
Their track record in this area stinks...I have seen dummy .45 ammo
destroyed becaused it posed a "danger" to society. Lets get realistic..Gene
