Let me be contribute to the "rumor thread": This guy is actually right on at
least one
point, when applied to vintage or antique motorcycles... put any kind of
multi-grade synthetic oil on an old Harley, and it will be all over the
garage floor the next day.... To be fair, Harleys do tend to "mark their
spot" even with the prescribed 50SAE mineral oil...
Now, who's next?
