Electrical Parts from Riverside MFG

Riverside MFG (near So Bend, In) is a OEM manufacturer of electrical
componets for the automotive trade. They do supply many componets to AM
General, mfr. of the Hummer. They have advertised in Supply Line and in my
opinion, have been a Godsend to the Hummer crowd. As many of you know, AMG
has taken the stance that they will not support any of the Hummers that were
sold (legally and really none of their business anyway-my opinion) in
Atlanta and seem to have severe heartburn over it too. Riverside makes the
"goodie" parts that we really need to make them run and are available in
upgraded fashions. They make the upgraded glow plug controller and the
protective box that many of them needed and will continue to need. I think
this was a great idea on the Riverside staff and applaud them for this. We
should support them and yes, while the parts may be a little pricey as
compared to other MV parts, they are available nowhere else. Who else has
ever done this before? The two folks from Riverside, owners of the company,
showed up at KC for the convention as vendors and were very helpful and
knowledgeable of all of the electrical parts. If you can pay $15000-30000
for your military Hummer, another $100 or so shouldn't bother you. The
military CARC paint job is invisible at night and the LED composite tail
light is very bright and should be used on the Hummer anyway for safety
reasons. I mentioned the price of them in my last posting and one reminded
us again! LED's seem to be the future of lighting. Sincerely, Julian Burke
