I just watched my local (120 miles away) news. They did a story on a group
that is restoring a PT boat in the Sacramento Delta. According to the story
the PT 695 was built in 1944 for lend lease to the Russians. It apparently
never made it there. I was surprised to hear that only seven exist today and
there is only one other, in Texas, that is actually in the water. PT 965 is
supposed to be completed next year.
