Question to the list (at the risk of igniting the ether vs. non-ether debate)
(no pun intended)
I just got a CUCV from a local police dept.
They have converted it to ether injection (Budd zero-start) unit.
They glow plug is unhooked, as is the controller (no wait light)
Here is the question:
Is it worth trying to go back to the original setup?
How likely is it that the glowplug is melted over?
Should I leave it as is, and figure it worked for the past 5 years, leave it
alone?
Any advice is appreciated...
