Paul, My bid went in Fri sept 8th, and I cleared the background check also.
Award documents came in via Fax yesterday sept 27.

According to my understanding, after one bid you should have a bid # that
you can use on all subsequent bids, and not have to go thru the background
check more than once.
Someone will correct me if this is wrong I hope.

Have you called the Property Disposal Tech working this sale to see if there
are any problems?
The Tech on this sale, 31-0339 has been very helpful to me in my complete
lack of understanding of the system,
and was kind enough to call me when my "fax" # would not work, (was
connected to the net).

Rikk

Could you tell me, how long did it take the DRMS to approve the end use
form and award the bid to you? I was high bidder on a five ton a few weeks
ago, and they are telling me all new bidders must be checked out for export
violations. They tell me this takes from four to six weeks. So the truck
sits, and gets picked and pilfered by other buyers, forestry people, state
screeners, etc. I've never heard of such B.S. I'e bought trucks and stuff
from the DRMS and it's predecessors for over thirty years, the last an M62A2
wrecer a few years ago. If you ask me, they want to keep the little guys
out. I'm ready to tell 'em to keep the truck. How long did it take for you
to clear? Thanks, Paul
