I just got an XM105E3 one and a half ton trailer to go with my '53 GMC XM220 deuce and a half. This
one was made by Checker Cab Co. and the bottom part of the tag has been badly damaged. Can anyone
tell me when the military first approved the production of XM105's and when were they accepted as
full fledge military units causing the X to be dropped from the designation?
