Aervoe vs. Gillespie paint (M37)???

I have had some feedback saying Aervoe will/may discolor over time and I
have been suggested to Gillepie paint. I see the difference in price is
nominal but I'm wondering about personal experiences here.

Also, someone mentioned about the paint not being a primer. Since I'm not
sanding down to bare metal, should I worry about a primer? Of course I
might be able to use the primer coat for both practice and a filler since
it looks as if there are at least two coats of paint on it now.

More thoughts appreciated.
