Believe so.. When I acquired the 41 Chevy fire engine I
went hunting fire engine stuff and equipment (I need some
hoses and nozzles) a web search turned up some companies
selling converted water buffalos that were turned into
fire fighting trailers. According to the sale stuff the
conversion was done as a military unit..

Don't remember the specific web site but I'll bet if you do
a search on fire engines you'll find it .
