Aha, the shear pit is where the truck is stuck when the winch shear pin
breaks... Remember to put the winch in low and the transfer case in low and
the tranny in 1 and let it idle and you will pull yourself out and not shear
the pin... It is aluminum and I will look up the part # later on... Go to
your local OMS and with a sad face ask the nice Warrant Officer if he will
let his supply sergeant give you a couple of pins as you have been a bad boy
and have learned your lesson.. You can use an aluminum bolt like they use
in the Ariens Snow Blower auger system if one of the right diameter and
length is available.... DO NOT PUT IN A STEEL BOLT AS YOU WILL EAT UP THE
BULL GEAR AND THEN YOU WILL BE REALLY SORRY!! RAM MVPA #217
