The pumps are the same, just the compensator is bypassed. On my 1-D motor
that was rebuilt in 92 the yellow diesel only sticker is there, it says that
it was bypassed and to use diesel only, but if the situation requires it,
un-bypass the compensator and use the 'alternate' fuel.
