  Its been a while since I watched the film .. Most
"yellow gear" running about the deck would be tugs
  to move aircraft that were disabled or not running
  or units carring Ground Power Units (GPU's) to plug
  into the aircraft electical to provide power to start
  the aircrtaft up.
