Personally, if I make a deal with someone, I honor the deal
even if I get a better offer later. It has to do with giving your
word and following through.

I don't generally go back twice to someone who blandly says
he/she got a better offer *after* reaching an agreement with me.
I don't think the "dealer" was childish at all for being a little upset.
