The dash plate reads "17215 8/52"
The fenderwell plate reads " MD 17215."
The engine block reads "MD 17215."
This vehicle is an extemely original unit. It is still in original OD paint,
with all original hood numbers and unit markings. It spent some years in a
small town in Kansas, owned by the town, and used primarily to fog for
mosquito control. The markings are as follows:

Hood number: 20959380.
Unit markings:
69BG
114CAV
E 21

I assume this is from a cav. unit, because there are red and white guidons
on each side of the front fenders, again with E 21 painted on them, and
crossed sabers across the bottom of the windshield frame.

Anyone out there know anything about this regiment??

Tom, I hope this helps you with your records. I would personally appreciate
any info you might have.
