RE: [MV] Do you play with it?

Sounds like a personal question...

I finished my GPW early this summer and spent about 1/2 of the summer
getting it running RIGHT. I live in a suburban area where there is not alot
of room for 4 wheeling. Not that that was going to stop me, there are plenty
of places to drive to that are under construction, so I did indeed have the
opportunity to run the transfer case.

Also been to a number of "parking lot" shows, during one of which my
distributor conveniently decided to give up the ghost. Even broken down, I
got more interest than the 'Vettes, Malibus, Model T's and hopped-up
subcompact contemporaries (You know, the ones with the extended wheel hubs
and low profile tires the boys from the hood like to drive). "Do you REALLY
sit on the gas tank??!!?"

The neighborhood kids get a real charge out of driving around the
neighborhood and into the new home foundations under construction. They
don't get to go on the main road, only my puppy dog, who hates it.

No parades yet, but there is one this coming summer. I did make it to a
fundraiser held during the Cleveland airshow for the USS Cod (now there is
an HMV). Got into the airshow free, too. I told my wife this thing would pay
off.

Plus, if its nice weather, I just like to drive it around for no reason at
all.

I don't want to hear from anybody in my little universe that they don't know
what to get me for Xmas. If it is jeep related in even the most limited way,
it is perfect and I always wanted one.
