Can't answer it all, but will try some below:

vehicle.

Just a comment here for the list. BUY one now. They are getting hard to
find in any kind of shape, and a rolling one for $7000 or so is a great
deal...

>1. is the horn button and wire for the M-37 interchangeable with the WC?

I have a NOS WC here, and I believe it is a different size.

For those who are not aware of it, http://www.dodgepowerwagon.com has a
wonderful forum for asking these types of questions. If that doesn't work,
go to the related links page, scroll down to Gordon's Vehicle Page, and
click on his forum link. All about WWII Dodges.

On my WC53 and WC54, this is a little steel circle, and it is screwed right
into the wood or steel.

There are no extensions like on the MB/GPW, just the top half.

Ken, good luck with this truck. They are great trucks. If you have worked
with the M37, you are probably aware of the water distribution tube problem
in the engine. It is definitely worth pulling the radiator and water pump
and checking it before running it if it has not been run in a while. Axle
seals should be looked at also, and don't drive it over 45 MPH for extended
periods of time.

Ohh, and for the people with inferiority complexes out there- go ahead and
flame me.
