I'm taking one of the weasels
up in the national forest behind Keystone, CO
to attempt to salvage an M28 weasel. (The
M28 is the early weasel that is sort of like
an M29 with the tracks on backwards.) It was
abandoned there by the 10th Mountain Division
during training exercises back in the '40s.
Over the years it has been parted out and
shot up pretty bad. The only thing that is
left is the hull. If anyone is interested in
restoring this thing, let me know. Hopefully
I'll get some good shots of the M29 towing
the M28 across the snow.
