Last that I knew the 40MM Bofors was still in use (dismounted single weapon
only) on the U.S. Air Force's AC-130H Gunships. As I recall they have and
can shoot M.134 GE Minigun 7.62MM, a single dismounted Bofors 40MM still
crew fed and last but not least a dismounted 105MM plus a host of other
support systems such as flare dispensers etc. Who says old weapons systems
aren't any good.

    Seems someone in Centcom likes to have the reserves be able to "reach
out and touch someone".
