When I restored my 1952 M135, I was advised by
Geo. Baxter, of Army Jeep Parts, that the correct
color for the early M Series is a late WWII semi-
gloss, sort of an o.d. I painted mine this color
and it's an exact match to the paint behind the
fording cap on the dash, an area that rarely saw
daylight. It also matches the original color under
the dark semi-gloss on my 1952 M37. George
has this Gillespie Coatings color in stock.
