Sir,

If I had a serious customer for any item that I have sold in the past and
that prospective customer requested business references, I fulfilled his
request to the best of my ability. I however am not going to unilaterally
post to a list, names of past customers and their contact numbers in order
to satisfy you!

I have seen many a listers post things for sale. Never did I see such a
confrontation by anyone to prove this that or the other thing. You are not
even interested in what I am selling!!!!!!!

Yes, you are probally correct in that I should set-up a booth at the major
MV events. If and when I decide to do such, you will be the first that I
tell, I promise. I am very comfortable with the progress of my operation. It
should also be noted that my mandate was never to sell to the end user
although it seems to be slowly moving in that direction.

I however would not consider myself a "major dealer". If there is anything
that anyone was or is interested in buying, I welcome all qualified buyers
to come and inspect the item(s) of interest. Can't offer much more then
that.

Unfortunately, your rejoinder never even touched on the reason why this
dialogue even started. The reason why you felt it was your duty to start a
rumour that is so far from the truth is beyond me. Not knowing anything
about you, I care not even to speculate.

I am sure that you would not appreciate it if one was to post inaccurate
statments about you, your place of residence etc.. I am beyond that, I can
assure you.

In closing I mind my own business. I don't bother anyone on the list. From
time to time, I have posted some pieces that I have for sale that I did not
sell through other avenues. If someone is interested, then fine. If not,
that's ok too. If one does not want to buy, then they need not start a
rumour about someone, hit the delete key!

I will not expend any more bandwith on this issue. I simply do not
appreciate when someone openly makes comments about me and my business that
are simply not true. Anyone with a little pride would react as I.

Regards,

Perhaps the need has arisen, could you share some references with us please

Splendid. Nice to know you have got a bit of the OTHER.

Now, and previously, you have tempted us all I'm sure with some really
interesting and rare MVs, perhaps we could respectfully suggest and request
that you have a trade stand at "the" MV show like most of the other major
dealers. I would be most interested in viewing even a small sample of the
vehicles and it is perhaps likely that many would be sold on the spot as is
the way of The War and Peace show at Beltring, doubtless Nigel could assist
you in a stall booking for this huge MV show.

Best regards,
