Original engines were blue and the air cleaner was black and it was a dry
paper pack. The 340 was a little used engine.. Are you sure that it is not a
360 which in a medium duty truck would/could have had a wet air cleaner. All
M880 and 890 series trucks came with the standard small capacity 12 volt
system... The M882 and others set up for radio use had a separate 24 volt
system with the Mil Std. 60 A 28 volt alternator and 2 more batteries over
the right front wheel. If only GM had done the same thing with the
cucv!!!......RAM
