Yup, the hood lock is an Oregon thing. Don't want those batteries stolen or
something.

What unit did it come from ?

We had very little time prior to turn-in. I was told on 28 September I had
to have it gone
by 1 October. Pissed me off we had just put a new top on the beast and had
to pull it off.
If I'd known we wer't getting a replacement I'd have turned the top in too.

I think some supply folks thought they had to make them CC H to turn them in.

I'm curious about how many HAVE engines, the shop was pulling them to use in a
rebuild program for HMVEE engines.
