Jim Winne has about covered it all. The key point to
remember in the context of driveability (re-power or
not) is the 5.87:1 rear end drive ratio. If you're
buying to preserve the truck military original that's
probably not an issue but if you're looking for a
daily driver most owners seem to end up re-engineering
the truck.
