Converting vacuum wipers to 12 volt on a 1942 Chev 1.5 ton truck. The
sleeve or barrel measures 1.5 inches from the face of the motor to the
end with a half inch of that threaded. The drive shaft measures 2 inches
from the face of the motor. Need an electric motor to replace this one
with similar dimensions so we can still raise the window. Anyone have a
part number or know where to look for the right style.
Went to a very reliable jeep parts store and the motor they gave us has
a drive shaft length of 3.5". too long so can't open the front window.
