I just did some interesting math,
With a deuce if you want to haul crushed rock,
The bed without sideboards will hold around 5.25 yards,
If crushed rock weighs 2750 lbs per cy, the truck can only haul 3.63 yards,
and on rough ground /off road only 1/2 of that.

With water, its around 1200 Gal, with a little left for the tank.

If you find a flaw in my math, let me know.
I think this is an interesting "caution" for those that may want to use
their trucks to haul something.

btw: Does anyone know, off of the top of their head, what the weight of dry
sand is?
