FWIW...
Going by TM9-2320-289-34P it shows that the M1009 uses Master cylinder NSN
2530-01-192-9778, Part# 2232072 which has a large FRONT reservoir. It is the
only CUCV model to use this master cylinder.
ALL other CUCV models use NSN 2530-01-156-7016, Part# 2232073 which has
a large REAR reservoir.
