Howdy List;
Thought I drop a note and let you know about a great day playing with the
M35A2. Had to get 30 college students and their gear for a three day winter
backpack trip to the top of an unplowed Forest Service road that has had no
traffic (other than snowmobiles) on it all winter. Meet them at the bottom
of road with truck and M105 trailer, chained up all 10 tires on truck,
loaded up about 4500 pounds of students in truck, about 1500 pounds of gear
in the trailer, and started up in 2 feet of snow. Soon dragging bottom as
snow deepens to about 4 feet. Low gear, low range 1500 - 1700 RPM for 2
hours gets us to top of pass on a glorious sunny day. These trucks are
great! Don't be afraid to use your truck, thats what there for!
